Muchas Gracias Monday

Kimi over at So Many Kids, So Little Time has started a new meme for Monday. And don't worry if you don't know what a meme is, I didn't either. But, after a little searching on Google, I learned that a meme is a concept that spreads quickly through the internet. Anyway, Kimi's Muchas Gracias Monday is a fun way to share with others what/whom you are most thankful for. Even though I won't be participating every week (hello, I just brought back Menu Monday and can't abandon it already), I wanted to kick this Monday off by taking part and recognizing just some of the many good things in my life. And, while at times snarkiness and sarcasm can be fun to write (and read), put down your sword pen and take a second to spread the word...It's Muchas Gracias Monday! Thanks, Kim for the great idea!

Muchas Gracias to my mom and dad. To them I'm still a five year old kid in need of spoiling, encouragement, and at times a little reprimanding! I only hope I can be for Gillian Grace, all that y'all have been for me---a loving parent, disciplinarian, role model, and most importantly, a life long friend.

Muchas Gracias to my husband, without whom I'd be either lost or crazy, or a combination of the two. Your help around the house, especially with our daughter, is more valuable to me than a diet coke first thing in the morning. I'm not the easiest to live with at times (yes, hard to believe I know) but you've managed to stick by me through the good, the bad, and the ugly for which I am forever grateful.

And lastly,
Muchas Gracias to my lil' Gillybean. After a few (and by a few I mean five) rough nights you awoke this morning, like most mornings of your life, with a smile on your face melting away any worries I had that you'd be upset with me for allowing you to cry it out last night. Thanks for being a resilient and forgiving baby. Mommy loves you!

So who deserves a Muchas Gracias from you this Monday morning?

Muchas Gracias Monday

I love the muchas gracias to your hubby-- and the idea that his help is more valuable than a diet coke in the am! -
