Almost Wordless Wednesday---Lemon Drop

Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top that's where you'll find me...

Sweet Bean's Somewhere Over the Rainbow is definitely at Gammie and Grandad's. Even at this young age, it's obvious that there's no place she'd rather be than with two of her most favorite people!

And who can blame her? Gammie and Grandad spoil her rotten with love, affection, and most anything her tiny heart desires!  But it's not the material things that Gillian Grace will grow up remembering, it's the thousands of little moments, gestures, hugs, and smiles that will mean the most and leave her eternally grateful.

Many years from now when GG is all grown up and on her own, she'll never pass a lemon tree again without thinking of her Grandad and the one he planted in her honor.

Where's your Somewhere Over the Rainbow?

These are just precious, Shannon!! GG is going to treasure both the pictures and the memories that they hold when she is older. I am devastated that my kids won't interact with my Daddy this side of Heaven but I'm not in charge of the greater plan so I must live with it! My kids "Somewhere" is most definitely both of their grandmas' houses :) They are so blessed!

This gives me chills!

I think mine and Addison's "somewhere" is my Mom's house or the city of Huntsville in general for me. I long to go home to family every day!

I have one question? How do you get GG to keep her bows in? Landyn wont leave them in for the life of her. I mean her momma makes them... :)

You know how I feel about your relationship with your parents. It is so great to see such a loving, happy family. I know GG will always be their little angel and she is always going to love going to see them :) Her picking the lemons is too cute :)

What a sweet post! Love the pictures of GG and Grandad! She is one loved little girl!

Jack's "somewhere" is definitely anywhere with my mom or Ran's mom!

What great photos!! And a wonderful way for your parents to always stay fresh in GG's mind when she grows older!! :) I'd love a lemon tree, but I don't think it would survive in Indiana!

I can't get over picture # 5 (yes, I went back and counted!) GG's chubby little legs ... I say that kindly, I promise! I could just eat her up!

So much cuteness in the picture, but I think the best of all is the little painted wood sign by the lemon tree. Love it!
