- As Florida transplants living in the Heart of Dixie, my husband and I created this blog as a way for friends and family to keep up with the growing changes in our lives, mainly our journey into first time parenthood and the adventures of our little girl born July 2009. As alumni of the University of Florida we proudly hang our Gator flag amid the crimson and white of all the Alabama fans on our block. Although to some our lives may seem boring, we can't imagine being happier at this point in our lives. God has truly blessed our family.
