A Nice Day

Last Friday, Bret and I headed east to Pensacola to have lunch with Mary Brandenburg. For those of you that don't know, Mary is a friend of ours from Gainesville. Mary is the CRT at Chiles where I taught for five years. She was in town for a wedding. We enjoyed a great lunch at the New Yorker Deli. The weather was surprisingly pleasant for late May and we were actually able to dine al fresco under a nice shady umbrella. Not only was the weather enjoyable, the company wasn't bad either! :) It was wonderful to catch up on the goings-on in our lives. Mary even brought a gift for Gillian---her first Gator outfit, yippee! As you can guess finding Gator gear up here, where Bama and Auburn reign supreme, is nearly impossible!
