Sweet Bean

Yesterday Gillian Grace turned 14 months old, and in the little over a year that GG's been a part of our family, our sweet lil' bean has taught us a great deal.

We've learned to enjoy each new day a little more than the one before, and to always remember the many ways in which God has blessed our lives.

And, in those times when life gets too heavy and we begin taking ourselves a little too seriously, she has a way of lightening our load, bringing everything into perspective and a smile to our faces.

GG fills our hearts with joy and the room with laughter daily.

In grandad's words, "She's a peach!"

And while we feel eternally grateful to call such an adorable child our own, I can't help but wonder if having us for parents sometimes makes Gillybean feel like going crazy!

What do you think?

I think Grandad is right. GG is a peach. I love her pig tails.
You are very blessed. You can't help but laugh when she starts laughing.
Have a great day now you hear.

She is such a sweet bean! They all are. But as much as we love them, they can drive us 'crazy' too!

That is too cute! Little Man loves to shake his head side to side. We ask him "Have you been a good boy today?" and he shakes his head and laughs. :)

LOVE IT!

One of the benefits Madeline gets as being the little sister is catching a few shows that normally she would have to wait another year to see.

On Team Umizoomi they do a 'crazy shake' with a song. Madeline doing the 'crazy shake' is similar to GG going crazy. They need to get that extra energy out somehow!

It's so funny when they learn to do things that "entertain" mom and dad, and they'll do it endlessly!

Shucks, IC an't ever view at work. And, I always forget or don't get around to it once I get home. I sure do love me som Gilli Bean though! Happy 14 Month! We feel the same way about Nik. Children truly allow you to re-live life/see life through a child's eyes, and that truly makes beautiful, inspiring, surprising, and amazing. Makes life worth living!
