Not So Wordless Wednesday---Christmas Past

I read so many great blogs, that I'm beginning to get a complex---y'all are making me look bad! Here we are on the first day of December and yours truly is apparently one of the few that's still unable to check off the Christmas card photo from her to do list. And what's more {or worse} is that I'm really not sure what I want this year's card to look like. Hello inspiration, where are you?

What's that you say? Shame on me! Well, you're right! And to think I run my own design business, geez Louise!

While I like to think that putting things off isn't something I regularly do, the truth is, procrastination is pretty much the norm for me. But, I like to think that I work best under pressure. Or at least, that's what I keep telling myself as my list of to dos grows longer, in hopes of postponing the inevitable ginormous holiday meltdown as long as humanly possible!

And before I can even think about snapping away in hopes of achieving the ultimate in Christmas card perfection, I couldn't help but share a few pictures from Christmas past---Sweet Bean's first Christmas.

Cue the broken record---I cannot believe how much she's changed! It's almost hard to believe this little chunk of sweetness is Gillian Grace! Oh, how I miss those days! {Sniff, Sniff}

And with a wiggly giggly now 16 month old, I'm guaranteed to have my work cut out for me!

On the bright side, she's a cutie and while just any photo would likely be good enough to make friends and family smile, we set the bar pretty darn high with last year's Christmas card photo!

I mean really, how can I top this one! Any ideas?

Total sweetheart! I love all those pictures. As for what you could do this year ... she could be dressed up as an angel, and you could make a cardboard Christmas tree that sits infront of a stool, then she could sit on top of the stool so that she's the Christmas tree topper :D

Ok ... way too much work lol. But it sounded like a good idea ;)

OMG! She is just so adorable, I must know where to get those adorable dresses with the embroidered top (the red paid one) that look so southern? Those don't sell here and Lallie would just (I think) look adorable in one!! Tell me, please???

GG is just so pretty and cute, so has grown up SO much!

I could have written this post myself. I'm so behind on my holiday cards! My problem is that I ALWAYS write a christmas letter with some theme and I'm coming up short this year.

I LOVE the pic of GG from last year. What about a picture of her frosting sugar cookies? That would be super CUTE :)

I have not checked cards off of my list either, so do not fret :) It will get done...it always does. I am all about working under pressure..LOL! I do know that the photo of GG from her XMas card last year is going to be hard to top!! The is the CUTEST photo ever :)

No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong with a picture of GG! Procrastination is my middle name these days. Christmas cards is one of the few things I can actually check off my list, though - I was SO proud of myself for knocking that out this weekend! Posting about Thanksgiving? That's another story...maybe later...

GG is so pretty! I love her little face...and you dress her so cute!

I need to get busy on our Christmas card...ugh! I just realized this morning that it is December...where has the time gone?

The card from last year was too cute, but I know you'll out-do yourself this year!

I'm a procrastinator too! I really do work better under pressure and get things done much quicker when I'm down to the wire.

I love GG's smocked dress in the last pictures. I need to learn to make those! I SOOO should have had a girl! HA! Smocked outfits on boys just aren't nearly as cute!

I wouldn't worry about how much other people have up. You will get there and it will look amazing! I am sure your card will be beautiful! I hope your Wednesday is a good one. Take care

Oh my goodness!!! That Christmas card pic is absolutely the best!! I have never seen one that creative or cute :)

We combined ours last year with a birth announcement since W was only 3 months old, but this year we included a pic of ourselves...which I will not do again! :)

I was actually on top of things this year and ordered mine early, but now I wish that I had waited and done a more "Christmas-y" picture! So I think it's best to procrastinate sometimes too!

She is just so cute, I just want to squeeze those cheeks!!!

I am sure you will come up with something for this years card, you always do!!!

I am still waiting on the proofs from our photographer before I can even think about what I am doing for our cards. I pray to God we have one good photo in there somewhere!!!

I will be in touch tonight with the list!!!

Aww. I love when you I never saw all those photos! Too cute! They grow up so fast don;t they! The pic of you and her is AMAZING!! Beautiful! Umm...yes, very hard to top last years! That is too funny! You are so creative! Why didn;t I think of that! What a cute idea!

I don;t have my cards out yet! Don;t worry! I may actually send New Years Cards or something instead. I have free cards from shutterfly, but I think I have ti edit my photos with photoshop before I submit them bc they are DSLR. So, I'm not sure what we are going to do, also during our warm weather stint, we were in overtime, and I couldn;t get off to take the pumpkin's pictures outside. Now, It's freezing! Ugh! What to do?

I'm sure you'll figure it out! I hope I do too!

Hey, I'm hosting my very first giveaway today, head over, please!!!

Love ya! Ho, Ho, Ho!

Love the photos. I am the same way with Grant. I can't believe last year he was barely crawling and now he is running around everywhere and bumping into the christmas tree- lost many ornaments the last few days!
The ornament exchange sounds so much fun! I will email you here in a sec and sign up! XOXO

Oh and love the whole new blog look. It truly is southern and simple and so classy! XOXO

OMG - that is SO fabulous, you need to just do it all over again!

I think you may be out of luck trying to top last year's pic, it's AMAZING! I'm with Liz, maybe make it a theme? Same idea each year? Great pics!

Oh I miss those days too!!! I love last year's Christmas photo. Maybe you can take one of her this year playing with her Nativity set?! Quite honestly though, I think any Christmas card with GG on the front will be a homerun. I loved all these pictures of Christmas past...

I loved looking at all the pictures! She is just a doll!
I love your Christmas card photo from last year. Try a gigantic Christmas mug this year. I bought mine at Michael's and took a picture of Lexie in it on her first Christmas, and used it for our cards. She still fits in it!
