3 Fs Friday ---Flashback and Five Question Friday

Flashback Friday

With Gillian Grace's first birthday looming {as though you didn't know}, I'm putting a new spin on July's Flashback Fridays and featuring pictures of GG from the early days.

It's still hard to believe how much she's changed...

Is there anything more precious than a sleeping baby?

Five Question Friday

It's time to join the 5QF fun over at Mama M.'s. If you'd like to participate just head on over to My Little Life and link up.

1. What is one food you could eat everyday?

No thinking necessary, hands down, without a doubt, I could chow down on chips and salsa 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Ole!

2. Are you working in the career you thought you would be when you were 18?

Maybe if I'd been clairvoyant, but in reality my new job as a stay-at-home mom is a far cry from the Chanel suit wearing, high heel strutting, briefcase toting, highly respected, and equally powerful Assistant District Attorney I thought I'd be. Guess I have years of Law and Order to thank for planting that seed {Think Angie Harmon as ADA, Abbie Carmichael}.

3. What is something that you wish you would have done when you were younger and you didn't?

I wish I could go back to Mrs. Lollar's seventh grade biology and apologize to Anthony Shanko. As embarrassed and ashamed as I am to admit it, I was at times a mean girl, teasing and snubbing Anthony simply because I could. Sadly, I never got a chance to tell Anthony how sorry I was for treating him so badly, God called him home sometime later our 7th grade year. After a domestic struggle and a heroic attempt to protect his mother, Anthony was stabbed. Living only long enough to identify the attacker to the authorities, Anthony left this world behind. Although I hope to one day see Anthony again and give him the face to face apology he so rightly deserves, I wish that I would have just said those three little words {I am sorry} all those years ago.

4. What color are your kitchen walls?

Benjamin Moore's Sag Harbor Grey {beige}---Am I a risk taker or what?!

5. Do you remember what your very first favorite song was?

Easy...Queen's Another One Bites the Dust! I was told that I loved this song as a baby and love it to this day!

Make it a good one, y'all!

Oh Shannon!!! You gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes reading about Anthony. I'm so sorry that all happened. :( I am sure he forgives you and is looking down on you and hoping that he can relay that to you somehow so that you don't have regret.

Your kitchen is AMAZING!! Wow!! It's so beautiful! My kitchen walls are the EXACT same color!!! :D

I'm your newest follower from Friendly Friday!

So adorable! They do grow up in a blink of an eye. I have to agree, there isn't anything more precious than a sleeping baby.

For one thing, they are so adorable when they are sleeping and another thing is that it's quiet time! ;)

Check out our giveaways!
