Miscellany Monday

one. license to drive

Sweet Bean's got a new ride, thanks to a Sunday trip to Toys R' Us and one unnecessary, but still greatly appreciated, monetary donation from Gammie. Needless to say, Gillian Grace's new Little Tikes Cozy Coupe is a hit!

On another note---How long does it take and engineer and accountant to put together a children's toy?

Answer: So long, that a 20 month old felt it was time to lend a hand.

two. it's how we ROLL

Just as darkness began to fall yesterday evening, Bret came to me with an idea for playing a practical joke on our friends (and neighbors) who also happen to be some of the biggest Alabama fans around. Apparently their car, with vacant front license plate, was just screaming for a little team spirit!

We've got spirit, yes we do!
Now, thanks to us, they do too!

three. it's springtime

Saturday we ventured across the bay for an arts and crafts festival. Not only was the event jam packed with people, great for the local economy, but it was hotter than blue blazes. Of course this was the day I chose to sport my fully lined Lilly dress and wear my hair down and straightened! Ummmm, miserably uncomfortable party of 1, your table is now ready!!

Despite feeling as though I was going to spontaneously combust at any moment, the heat didn't seem to bother Sweet Bean one bit as she thoroughly enjoyed herself. When we took a respite from the sun underneath a shady shop overhang, Gillian Grace once again became the center of attention as she moved and grooved to the nearby tunes of the jazz band.

four. sweet bean

The name Sweet Bean is a familiar one, to family and loyal readers of this here bliggity blog. And now, I'm pleased to share that sweet bean is now the name of my new design company. My design shop, complete with new name and products is finally up and running! If you're in need of a design, whether it be stationery for a special occasion or a new look for your blog, I'd be glad to help! Just like my little Sweet Bean (and the inspiration behind the name), I hope you'll find my designs simply sweet!

five. yadda yadda yadda

It's Monday and the first week without The Bachelor. What will you watch instead tonight?

Is your team in the NCAA tourney? Who are you cheering for during March Madness? Go Gators!

I hope that your week is off to a wonderful start! Make it a great one, y'all!

She is SO adorable! I don't think I ever get sick of your pictures :) I love her new car...why are kids toys so hard to put together??? They should just come assembled; don't they know parents have enough on their plates ;)

I hope you have a great week!!

I am dying over here at GG's outfit. That is the cutest!! Have you been shopping over at Brandy's? I am sure it was hot...I see that GG's cheeks are a little rosey :) And we have the 'boy' version of the cozy coupe and my kids still love it. Christopher is 5 and still tries to wiggle his way in there...LOL! Congrats on the new design site...going over to check it out. Have a great day Shannon :)

You have share with with where you find all her adorable smocked outfits. They are precious! Her car is so cute. We have the red one and even though it we gave it to Lillian as her 1st birthday gift it is still around a favorite of kids 1-6 years old!

Jack LOVES his cozy coupe! I'm so excited for warm days ahead and lots of time outside. I'm pretty sure we've skipped Spring in Texas and we're headed straight into Summer. It was 90 degrees here on Friday!

Gillian is just adorable! Love the rosy cheeks!

I wish it were hotter than "blue blazes" here. *sigh* I bet you looked absolutely adorable in your Lilly dress. :) Bean certainly does, pink cheeks and all.

I remember when my son had that Little Tykes car. His was orange (red) and yellow. Hours and hours of fun!

Love the Florida plate and prank you pulled on your neighbor. Hehehe...too funnY!

I just can't get over all the photos of your family in summer clothes. It must be wonderful to live where the climate is nice pretty much all year long. For the first time in a long, long time, I can see my mailbox. Good sigh, things are melting! Yay!

Happy Monday!

GG looks like she is a pretty good driver already! I'm sure she got that from her Momma! :)

Those pictures of her in her new car are great! That whale outfit she wore to the festival is too cute. She might be the best dressed toddler I've seen! As always, I am terribly jealous of your weather. As for us... we're still wearing winter coats :(

My nephew loves his little car like that but he's either too spoiled or too lazy to let us take the floor out so he can push himself around in it!

GG's outfit is sooo cute & of course so is she!

UGH! I don't know how you live next to Bama fans!!!
