Keeping it simple...

Yesterday we celebrated as most American families did with food, football, and fellowship. Although not the traditional meal, we dined on a delicious Thanksgiving meal of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, yams, green beans, broccoli rice casserole, and rolls. Yum! And, with two desserts to choose from it was difficult to decide which to have first---Mom's pumpkin crisp or my chocolate fudge pie. Sitting at dinner it was and still is hard for me to put into words all that I am thankful for. I'll save my letter of detailed thanks for the Big Man upstairs and simply say that after a year full of immeasurable blessings, there's not much I'm not thankful for.
